The seventh staging of the Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix takes place on Sunday at 5pm. Ahead of the race, here are some numbers from the event’s history.
1 — Time that the man in pole position has gone on to win in Abu Dhabi. That was in 2010 with Sebastian Vettel when the German won the first of his four world championships.
3 — The number of drivers to have triumphed at Yas Marina Circuit in the past. Vettel, pictured, has won three times (2009, 2010 and 2013), Lewis Hamilton twice (2011 and 2013) and Kimi Raikkonen in 2011.

9 — Drivers have finished on the podium in the past six stagings of the race. Vettel, Hamilton and Jenson Button have all appeared three times, with Mark Webber and Fernando Alonso twice, while Raikkonen, Nico Rosberg, Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas have all appeared once.
2012 — The last time that the safety car made an appearance during the grand prix. There have been three races with no safety car period (2009, 2013 and 2014), and three that have (2010, 2011 and 2012) that had some time under full course caution.
1.40.279 — The fastest race lap around Yas Marina Circuit, which was set by Vettel in his Red Bull Racing car on his way to winning the inaugural race in 2009.
