LONDON // Roy Keane admits his side were no match for Chelsea following a 5-0 rout at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. Chelsea now lead Liverpool in the Premier League and Keane said: "It was a tough afternoon. We got outclassed by a top, top team and there is no shame in that. I was pleased my players kept going. "We were always under pressure and we have seen Chelsea do this to a lot of teams this season - I don't have a problem praising the opposition," he added.
But Keane was critical of the referee Martin Atkinson for making a series of questionable decisions in the first half, such as allowing a debatable offside to stand that allowed Nicolas Anelka to record a second for the Blues. Keane had to be asked by Atkinson to watch the second half from the terraces. "I asked the referee about his decisions and he told me not to come to the dugout," he said. Chelsea's Ashley Cole will have a scan after suffering a calf injury.
