Violence in the Jamaican capital of Kingston has forced an alteration to South Africa's tour of the West Indies, with the final one-day international and first Test match now moved to Trinidad.
The government of the Caribbean island declared a state of emergency on Sunday, following civil violence which saw mobs attack several police stations.
It came after the government agreed to sign an extradition order for gang leader Christopher Coke.
But the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) has now acted, advising its Cricket South Africa (CSA) counterparts of the shift from Sabina Park to the Queen's Park Oval.
"CSA is monitoring the situation closely there with the West Indies Cricket Board, the International Cricket Council and the South African Government," the CSA chief executive officer, Gerald Majola, said.
"The Proteas' safety is our first priority and we thank that WICB for their swift action."
The dates for the matches ? June 3 for the ODI and June 10-14 for the first Test ? remain the same.
A warm-up match in between the fixtures against yet-to-be-named opposition on June 6 and 7 is also affected, but the WICB are still to confirm a venue for the game.
South Africa's tour to the Caribbean has so far seen them take in two Twenty20 internationals, both of which they won.
They also lead the current five-match ODI series 2-0.
