Injury won't affect Favre playing time

FLORHAM PARK // The New York Jets quarterback Brett Favre again took a limited part in training but is still expected to play tonight against the Arizona Cardinals. Favre injured his left ankle during last week's 48-29 loss to the San Diego Chargers during the third quarter, but did not come out of the game despite the obvious pain. New York Jets coach Eric Mangini said his star quarterback is building up his participation in training. "He was able to get a little bit of action yesterday," said Mangini who will assess Favre's fitness before kick off. "I think it will be a little bit more today. We'll progress as he progresses," he added.
