Jones had won the 1980 world title with Williams with Reutemann as his teammate. Reutemann's contract said if he ever led a race with Jones second he was to allow the Australian past and into the lead. This scenario happened at the Brazilian Grand Prix in 1981 but Reutemann stayed where he was, ignoring his team, winning the race but wrecking his relationship with Jones in the process.
Gilles Villeneuve and Didier Pironi
Villeneuve was leading at San Marino in 1982 ahead of Ferrari teammate Pironi. The Canadian was not worried about being overtaken as Ferrari team orders decried the cars hold station. But Pironi passed Villeneuve, then after Villeneuve retook the lead, passed him again on the final lap to win. The long-term consequences of the incident were never to be known as Villeneuve died in a crash in practice at the next race at Zolder, Belgium.
Nelson Piquet and Nigel Mansell
Sparks flew from the start when these two were paired at Williams for 1986 and 1987. Piquet had No 1 status but Mansell was often quicker, and the boorish natures of both men meant the team was split into two camps. Piquet, at one stage, insulted Mansell's wife publicly, and though he won the title in 1987 it was Piquet who left the team at the end of the year to go to Lotus.
Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost
The pair got on largely OK in 1988 at McLaren, but things began to go south between the two world champions early in 1989 when Senna broke an agreement he had made with Prost by passing him at the San Marino Grand Prix. The pair then collided at the Japanese Grand Prix, with Prost, who had complained of unequal treatment compared to Senna by McLaren, winning the title as a result. He left the team to join Ferrari.
Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton
Double world champion Alonso was uncomfortable with rookie teammate Hamilton alongside him as his teammate in 2007 and frustrations boiled over in Hungary. Hamilton firstly ignored an instruction to allow Alonso to go past him in qualifying, with Alonso gaining revenge by sitting in the pits long enough to block Hamilton and prevent him completing his last qualifying lap. Alonso would go on to claim he received inferior equipment to Hamilton and raced for Renault in 2008.

Checks continue
A High Court judge issued an interim order on Friday suspending a decision by Agriculture Minister Edwin Poots to direct a stop to Brexit agri-food checks at Northern Ireland ports.
Mr Justice Colton said he was making the temporary direction until a judicial review of the minister's unilateral action this week to order a halt to port checks that are required under the Northern Ireland Protocol.
Civil servants have yet to implement the instruction, pending legal clarity on their obligations, and checks are continuing.

Vanuatu: $130,000

Real estate tokenisation project
Dubai launched the pilot phase of its real estate tokenisation project last month.
The initiative focuses on converting real estate assets into digital tokens recorded on blockchain technology and helps in streamlining the process of buying, selling and investing, the Dubai Land Department said.
Dubai’s real estate tokenisation market is projected to reach Dh60 billion ($16.33 billion) by 2033, representing 7 per cent of the emirate’s total property transactions, according to the DLD.
