Virgil van Dijk has been spotted in Dubai just days after Liverpool were narrowly beaten by Manchester City in the Premier League title race.
Van Dijk, whose performance at the back underpinned what has been a superb season for Liverpool, posed for a picture with sports business consultant Saif Rubie who posted it on his Twitter page.
The Dutchman was last month named as England's PFA Player of the Year for 2019, seeing off competition from City striker Raheem Sterling, but his task now will be to help Liverpool lift the Uefa Champions League trophy in Madrid on June 1.
The centre-back is the second Liverpool player to have found his way to Dubai this week. On Thursday Mohamed Salah posted an image on his social media accounts showing him on a boat off the Dubai coast.
