We are now heading into the Premier League home straight for this season with plenty still to play for.

While the title seems destined for the blue half of Manchester, last week's defeat to rivals United at least gave the City juggernaut something to think about.

The battle for European spots is hotting up nicely with teams right down to Aston Villa in ninth still the mix.

At the other end of the table, while Sheffield United and West Bromwich Albion are all but doomed, Fulham's resurgence has given the likes of Newcastle United and Brighton cause for concern.

The Magpies kick-off the latest round of fixtures on Friday when they take on Aston Villa at St James' Park.

On Saturday, in-form Chelsea travel to Leeds United, Crystal Palace entertain West Brom, Everton take on Burnley at Goodison Park and leader Manchester City face Fulham in the capital.

Sunday starts with a south-coast battle between Southampton and Brighton, followed by Leicester against Sheffield United at the King Power Stadium. The North London derby between Arsenal and Spurs is next at the Emirates Stadium, while Manchester United at home to West Ham finishes off the day's games.

Finally, on Monday, reigning champions Liverpool will be hoping to rediscover their winning touch at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
