Philippe Coutinho took part in his first Bayern Munich training session on Monday after completing a season-long loan from Barcelona.

The Brazilian, 27, joined in with his new teammates as manager Niko Kovac put the squad through its paces at Bayern's training ground in Munich.

The German champions paid Barcelona €8.5 million (Dh34m) for a one-year loan with an option to make the deal for Coutinho permanent for €120 million next summer.

Coutinho is in line to make his debut when Bayern travel to Schalke on Saturday in the Bundesliga.
