How Manchester United could have done with Paul Pogba's creative spark during their tepid defeat to Newcastle United. Instead, the French midfielder is in Dubai where he has been working on his recovery from a foot injury. The 26-year-old posted a video to his Instagram page showing him peddling hard on a cross trainer on a rooftop. The Downtown Dubai skyline can be seen in the background, including the Burj Khalifa, as he works up a sweat under largely blue skies. "They say hard work pay off what about hard work in the heat ? Let’s see ... loving the view though. Allah always in control," he said, while also referencing the 37 degree temperatures in Dubai on Monday. Pogba has been a regular visitor to the UAE in recent years. He was last spotted in Dubai in May when his season with United was completed. He was joined at the Bulgari Resort by Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma, and also visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. Pogba featured for United against Arsenal at the beginning of last week, but missed out on their Europa League clash at AZ Alkmaar on Thursday and then Newcastle on Saturday. A club statement last week said: "Following a specialist’s opinion, Paul Pogba requires a period of further rest and conservative treatment for the foot injury he sustained during the game against Southampton in August. ‘Updates will follow in due course." _______________
