Has Mario Balotelli pulled off the greatest goal celebration of all time? The Italian striker has provided plenty of memorable moments during a controversy-packed career, but this one could top them all. He scored in the 12th minute of the French league match against St Etienne on Sunday evening for Marseille with a spectacular volley and then ran over to a cameraman behind the goal. Balotelli took his mobile phone from the cameraman and filmed the celebrations with his teammates before uploading the video to his Instagram account. The pre-planned episode worked flawlessly, as Balotelli not only scored, but did so at the end of the stadium where his phone was located - unless he had one behind each goal or the phone would have switched ends at half time. The celebration was similar to one done by Roma legend Francesco Totti, who took a picture of himself after scoring against Lazio in the Rome derby in 2015. That however wasn't instantly uploaded to social media during the match. He's going well so far, with four goals in his first six matches since moving from Nice in January. His career has been rejuvenated in France after dry spells at Milan and Liverpool between 2014 and 2016. He did however leave Nice under a cloud after falling out with manager Patrick Vieira. Vieira told the French media in December: "When it comes to Mario, I want to answer back, or just slam him up against the wall or leave him hanging by his collar on the coat rack, but I can’t, as I’m no longer a player." He was potentially one of the best strikers in the world, but Balotelli's career has frequently derailed. Among his misdemeanours have been an arrest for driving into a women's prison, firing air pistols in Milan's Piazza della Repubblica and requiring the fire brigade after setting off fireworks in his bathroom in Manchester. He was sent off four times during his brief Manchester City career and will forever be remembered for lifting his shirt to reveal the message "Why always me?" after scoring against Manchester United in 2011. In 2012, he gatecrashed the first press conference of Inter Milan's new manager, Andrea Stramaccioni at a time when he was a City player.
