It's becoming a rite of passage for the world's top footballers. Jet into Dubai when a break in the season allows, and then dine at Salt Bae's Nusr-Et Dubai restaurant. Earlier this season there was Lionel Messi and Paul Pogba seen at the restaurant together. Then there was the recent drama around Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery, who was criticised for eating a gold-coated steak at the celebrity-owned restaurant. And now it has been the turn of Manchester United's Romelu Lukaku, Anthony Martial and Andreas Pereira to give the food a go as they enjoyed some rest away from training during United's warm-weather break. "Amazing quality and thank you for looking after us," Lukaku wrote on his Instagram, tagging Salt Bae. They did however steer clear of the gold variety of steak, no doubt aware of the fuss created by Ribery, who has since been fined by Bayern after he hit back at "the jealous haters" who were unimpressed with his lavish meal. United were joined in Dubai by Paul Pogba on Tuesday, with the Frenchman having flown in a few days after his teammates having received treatment on an injury in Manchester. Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who has overseen five wins from five matches since taking over from Jose Mourinho, confirmed that defender Marcos Rojo has gone home due to injury, while Brazilian Fred stayed behind in the UK as his partner is expecting to give birth soon. Solskjaer said he is pleased with how the trip to the UAE has gone so far. "There are always great facilities here and we’re always well looked after," he said. "I’ve been here with Molde before and I didn’t expect anything else when you’re here with Man United. The players are working hard and I think it was important to come here. There are a couple of aspects [to it] – it’s the weather, the downtime the boys can have together, and it’s the time we can have on the pitch together. They don’t have to go back to their wives and kids after training so there is plenty of time for video analysis and to work on some principles of play. United are back in action on Sunday when they face Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League at Wembley. __________ Read more: Manchester United put in the hard yards during Dubai training camp Manchester United's David de Gea and Juan Mata relax with table tennis in Dubai WATCH: Mohamed Salah performs cringe-worthy dance after accepting African Footballer of the Year award
