Mauricio Pochettino hailed Tottenham Hotspur's attacking duo Harry Kane and Dele Alli after the pair inspired Spurs to a 3-0 win over Norwich City.
Kane scored twice in the first half at White Hart Lane as the striker took his 2015 tally to 27 league goals, breaking Teddy Sheringham’s club record. Tom Carroll added a third late on.
Alli was instrumental in both Kane’s goals, sliding in a clever pass which led to the opener from the penalty spot before laying his teammate on for a second on the counter-attack.
The midfielder came off to a standing ovation in the second half as Tottenham moved three points clear of Manchester United in the race for the Premier League top four.
“It’s fantastic the way Harry works, his character and personality,” Pochettino said.

“He deserves all the praise and I am very pleased for him but I am very pleased for all the team because we work hard every day and then when we show it on the pitch it’s fantastic for them.”
On Alli, Pochettino added: “He has shown his talent, character and personality on the pitch very quickly.
“He has been with us only six months but it seems like he has been here 10 years, the way he plays.”
The only concern for Spurs surrounds the fitness of Mousa Dembele after the Belgian took a knock to his ankle and is now struggling to be available for Monday’s game at Watford.
Dembele sat out the defeat to Newcastle United two weeks ago with a similar problem and Pochettino admitted the midfielder would have to be assessed.
“It’s a knock on the same ankle but we hope it’s not a big issue,” Pochettino said. “We’ll assess tomorrow and see if he is ready for Monday.”
Norwich started the brighter of the two teams, but failed to capitalise on their early pressure and then struggled to cope once Spurs found their rhythm.
The defeat was Norwich’s’ ninth of the season and Alex Neil’s side must now turn their attention to a crunch basement battle at home to Aston Villa on Monday.
“In the first half there was nothing in it until they got a penalty and scored and after that they grew in confidence and were the better side,” Neil said.
“We had some decent opportunities to score before they took the lead, but we didn’t take them.
“In the second half there was not a great deal in it, but I thought they played well and had better quality than us.
“It was a disappointing afternoon, I don’t think we played to the standards we are capable of, but I do think Spurs played very well at times.”

Real estate tokenisation project
Dubai launched the pilot phase of its real estate tokenisation project last month.
The initiative focuses on converting real estate assets into digital tokens recorded on blockchain technology and helps in streamlining the process of buying, selling and investing, the Dubai Land Department said.
Dubai’s real estate tokenisation market is projected to reach Dh60 billion ($16.33 billion) by 2033, representing 7 per cent of the emirate’s total property transactions, according to the DLD.
