Lahore Qalandars might have fallen just short of ultimate success in the PSL when they were beaten in the final by Karachi Kings on Tuesday.
But they could still toast a season when they were transformed from easy-beats to a side to believe in.
The runners-up have more players – four – in our team of the season that any other. Champions Karachi and league table-toppers Multan Sultans provide three apiece.
As Karachi did – successfully – in Tuesday night’s final, we have gone for just three overseas players rather than the full quota of four – and one of them was born in Pakistan.
