Pakistan had to fight tooth and nail in the series-deciding third T20 against Zimbabwe before prevailing by 24 runs on Sunday.
Mohammad Rizwan's 91 not out and another half-century from the prolific Babar Azam (52) powered Pakistan to 165-3 in their 20 overs at the Harare Sports Club.
Despite a strong start from Zimbabwe in the chase, experienced pace bowler Hasan Ali sealed2-1 for Pakistan a 2-1 series victory with 4-18 off his four overs as Zimbabwe only managed 141-7.
It was a close call for Pakistan who lost the second match after being bowled out of 99. It was a low scoring series with batsmen on both sides, apart from Rizwan, struggling to get going.
