Virat Kohli scored his first-century of the 2020 IPL as he guided Royal Challengers Bangalore to the top of the table.

The India captain was at the crease unbeaten on 72 off 53 balls when AB de Villiers hit the winning runs in an eight-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals.

The run chase had been a relatively easy one thanks to more excellence from Yuzvendra Chahal.

The Bangalore leg-spinner took three for 24 including the prize wicket of in-form Sanju Samson, as Rajasthan managed 154 for six from their 20 overs.

Devdutt Padikkal made a third half-century from his first four IPL innings, and shared an alliance worth 99 with Kohli as Bangalore eased to the win in Abu Dhabi.
