1. KL Rahul – 6. Harsh perhaps, for someone who top-scored in the match. But he was dropped on two, his strike-rate was sedate, and he did not see his side over the line.
2. Mayank Agarwal – 7. Another half-century, and it appeared his 39-ball 56 was just what his side needed. It was in a losing cause in the end, though.
3. Nicholas Pooran – 6. Tried to end it early, and could not really be faulted for that, given his form and the position Punjab were in at the time.
4. Prabhsimran Singh – 5. Four off seven heaped the pressure on his side in the late overs. Earlier he had performed well with the gloves.
5. Glenn Maxwell – 5. Perhaps not his choice to bat below Prabhsimran in the order, but Punjab really should have been making the most of his experience given the situation.
6. Mandeep Singh – 5. A first-ball duck, but could not be blamed for it. He gave it all he could, but holed out to substitute Chris Green.
7. Chris Jordan – 5. He has still yet to bring his England excellence to the UAE. Nought for 37 this time, and he did not get the chance to bat, either.
8. Ravi Bishnoi – 7. The 20-year-old leg-spinner has quickly become a linchpin of the Punjab attack. His one for 25 included the prize wicket of Morgan.
9. Mohammed Shami – 6. Not as spectacular as he was at the start of the tournament – but not as bad as in recent games, either, as he took one for 30.
10. Arshdeep Singh – 8. Started with a maiden that could easily have been a wicket-maiden. Euphoric at taking Russell’s wicket later on.
11. Mujeeb Ur Rahman – 4. Wicketless and expensive for the second game running on his return to the side, as he went for 44.

1. Rahul Tripathi – 4. Eight balls without scoring, then looked to have released the pressure with four off Shami – only to be castled next ball.
2. Shubman Gill – 7. Hung on in there after a difficult start, and made another half century before being run out.
3. Nitish Rana – 4. Victim of a comical mix up with Gill. The shy missed their shared stumps, but they were stood around chatting while the player backing up – Pooran – walked the ball to the stumps at the other end.
4. Eoin Morgan – 7. Did a good job steadying the ship after the chaotic start, only to hole out off Bishnoi for 24 off 23.
5. Dinesh Karthik – 8. Fully justified his (self-) promotion above Russell with a crafty half century to take his side to a competitive total.
6. Andre Russell – 5. Out third ball while swinging for the hills in the death overs. Suffered a knee injury while trying to prevent a four after dropping a catch.
7. Sunil Narine – 7. Needed to defend 14 against Maxwell in the last over. He went for 12. It was millimetres away from a tie though.
8. Pat Cummins – 7. The big-money signing of the season has been wicketless for the past three games, and has taken just two in the season so far. Still, though, he bowled some valuable overs here.
9. Kamlesh Nagarkoti – 5. The most expensive of the Kolkata bowlers as he went for 40 off just three overs.
10. Prasidh Krishna – 9. Fiery early on, bowling a 148kph delivery to Agarwal, and his last over – the 19th of the Punjab chase – went a long way to winning it for his side.
11. Varun Chakravarthy – 8. Another superb return from a spinner whose stock has risen so much this season. He only went for 27 from his four overs.
Top tips

How the bonus system works
The two riders are among several riders in the UAE to receive the top payment of £10,000 under the Thank You Fund of £16 million (Dh80m), which was announced in conjunction with Deliveroo's £8 billion (Dh40bn) stock market listing earlier this year.
The £10,000 (Dh50,000) payment is made to those riders who have completed the highest number of orders in each market.
There are also riders who will receive payments of £1,000 (Dh5,000) and £500 (Dh2,500).
All riders who have worked with Deliveroo for at least one year and completed 2,000 orders will receive £200 (Dh1,000), the company said when it announced the scheme.

Common OCD symptoms and how they manifest
Checking: the obsession or thoughts focus on some harm coming from things not being as they should, which usually centre around the theme of safety. For example, the obsession is “the building will burn down”, therefore the compulsion is checking that the oven is switched off.
Contamination: the obsession is focused on the presence of germs, dirt or harmful bacteria and how this will impact the person and/or their loved ones. For example, the obsession is “the floor is dirty; me and my family will get sick and die”, the compulsion is repetitive cleaning.
Orderliness: the obsession is a fear of sitting with uncomfortable feelings, or to prevent harm coming to oneself or others. Objectively there appears to be no logical link between the obsession and compulsion. For example,” I won’t feel right if the jars aren’t lined up” or “harm will come to my family if I don’t line up all the jars”, so the compulsion is therefore lining up the jars.
Intrusive thoughts: the intrusive thought is usually highly distressing and repetitive. Common examples may include thoughts of perpetrating violence towards others, harming others, or questions over one’s character or deeds, usually in conflict with the person’s true values. An example would be: “I think I might hurt my family”, which in turn leads to the compulsion of avoiding social gatherings.
Hoarding: the intrusive thought is the overvaluing of objects or possessions, while the compulsion is stashing or hoarding these items and refusing to let them go. For example, “this newspaper may come in useful one day”, therefore, the compulsion is hoarding newspapers instead of discarding them the next day.

Generational responses to the pandemic
Devesh Mamtani from Century Financial believes the cash-hoarding tendency of each generation is influenced by what stage of the employment cycle they are in. He offers the following insights:
Baby boomers (those born before 1964): Owing to market uncertainty and the need to survive amid competition, many in this generation are looking for options to hoard more cash and increase their overall savings/investments towards risk-free assets.
Generation X (born between 1965 and 1980): Gen X is currently in its prime working years. With their personal and family finances taking a hit, Generation X is looking at multiple options, including taking out short-term loan facilities with competitive interest rates instead of dipping into their savings account.
Millennials (born between 1981 and 1996): This market situation is giving them a valuable lesson about investing early. Many millennials who had previously not saved or invested are looking to start doing so now.
