Pakistan hit the ground running as they prepared for the first Test against the West Indies in Jamaica, which begins on Thursday.
Babar Azam's Pakistan enter the match on a high - they won the preceding T20 series 1-0 and have succeeded in their last four Tests. The men in green thrashed Zimbabwe and blanked South Africa 2-0 at home earlier in the year.
The visitors have a more experienced batting line-up with Babar, Azhar Ali, and Mohammad Rizwan forming the core of their team. What will also give them confidence is the fact that the West Indies were easily defeated by South Africa at home in their previous series.
Moreover, Windies coach Phil Simmons is worried about the readiness of the home players.
"A lot of the players said they didn't get any work done in their home territories before this camp and the four-day game," Simmons was quoted as saying by AFP after a four-day warm-up.
"It's disappointing to find out there's nothing done and we have to start from scratch here."
Kraigg Brathwaite's team were crushed by the Proteas in successive matches with pacers Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje and Lungi Ngidi ensuring they failed to get past 200 in four innings.

Also on December 7 to 9, the third edition of the Gulf Car Festival (www.gulfcarfestival.com) will take over Dubai Festival City Mall, a new venue for the event. Last year's festival brought together about 900 cars worth more than Dh300 million from across the Emirates and wider Gulf region – and that first figure is set to swell by several hundred this time around, with between 1,000 and 1,200 cars expected. The first day is themed around American muscle; the second centres on supercars, exotics, European cars and classics; and the final day will major in JDM (Japanese domestic market) cars, tuned vehicles and trucks. Individuals and car clubs can register their vehicles, although the festival isn’t all static displays, with stunt drifting, a rev battle, car pulls and a burnout competition.

His life in brief: Born in a village near Galilee, he lived in exile for most of his life and started writing poetry after high school. He was arrested several times by Israel for what were deemed to be inciteful poems. Most of his work focused on the love and yearning for his homeland, and he was regarded the Palestinian poet of resistance. Over the course of his life, he published more than 30 poetry collections and books of prose, with his work translated into more than 20 languages. Many of his poems were set to music by Arab composers, most significantly Marcel Khalife. Darwish died on August 9, 2008 after undergoing heart surgery in the United States. He was later buried in Ramallah where a shrine was erected in his honour.

Who was Alfred Nobel?
The Nobel Prize was created by wealthy Swedish chemist and entrepreneur Alfred Nobel.
- In his will he dictated that the bulk of his estate should be used to fund "prizes to those who, during the preceding year, have conferred the greatest benefit to humankind".
- Nobel is best known as the inventor of dynamite, but also wrote poetry and drama and could speak Russian, French, English and German by the age of 17. The five original prize categories reflect the interests closest to his heart.
- Nobel died in 1896 but it took until 1901, following a legal battle over his will, before the first prizes were awarded.
