Ajman will be hoping to claim their first win of the Pro League season tonight when they face promoted Kalba at home.

"We have played some good games in the league but haven't had the desired results," Abdul Wahab Abdul Qadir, Ajman's Iraqi coach, said. "We are not guaranteed the three points against Kalba but this is a good opportunity. It has been a pretty frustrating period for us and a win can do a lot of good things for us."

Ajman are on two points after five games while Kalba have yet to win any and they might feel that it is time for them to at least share the spoils.

Al Dhafra have made a solid start to the season, with seven points, and will try to consolidate their position when they meet Al Shabab at the Hamdan bin Zayed Stadium in the Wester Region.

"For us, after coming through the play-off, every game is a big game," Dzemal Hadziabdic, the Dhafra coach, said.

"We have done pretty well but we must not lose focus because we still have a long way to go. Shabab are pretty desperate to win and we expect them to come very hard at us."

Marcos Paqueta's side could muster only one point from the last four games which means the Brazilian coach will be under pressure despite the club's vote of confidence in him.
