Ajax's bid to reclaim top spot in the Eredivisie today is likely to be hampered by the loss of defender Gregory van der Wiel.
The Amsterdam side take on sixth-placed NAC Breda at the ArenA, but the full-back is doubtful after sustaining a foot injury while on international duty for Holland in midweek against Sweden.
Although he finished the match, Van der Wiel complained about pain in his foot afterwards.
"I was on the receiving end of a tackle late on in the game," said Van der Wiel. "We had already made three substitutions, so I had to continue playing.
"It hurts a lot though. We'll have to wait and see how serious it is."
Victory today will put Ajax top for at least 24 hours, with PSV Eindhoven, the current leaders, in action tomorrow at basement side Willem II. They will be without Jagos Vukovic, the central defender, who starts a two-match suspension after being sent off against ADO Den Haag.
