WIGAN // Aston Villa moved back into the top five as they triumphed at Wigan, with the striker Gabriel Agbonlahor having a hand in three of the four goals.
The England midfielder Gareth Barry scored the opener from the penalty spot in the 22nd minute. Gabriel Agbonlahor was felled in the box by Titus Bramble, and Barry made no mistake from 12 yards.
Martin O'Neill's side suffered a blow after the interval as Barry limped off with an injury, but his replacement John Carew was soon in the action as he set-up Villa's second goal. He flicked on an Ashley Young corner into the path of Agbonlahor, who forced the ball over the line in the 57th minute. Agbonlahor then turned creator as he centred for Carew to head home the third goal five minutes later.
Substitute Steve Sidwell completed the scoring late on as he fired home from the edge of the box.
The loss was harsh on Wigan. Steve Bruce's men had started well with both Emile Heskey and Oliver Kapo spurning early chances.

Real estate tokenisation project
Dubai launched the pilot phase of its real estate tokenisation project last month.
The initiative focuses on converting real estate assets into digital tokens recorded on blockchain technology and helps in streamlining the process of buying, selling and investing, the Dubai Land Department said.
Dubai’s real estate tokenisation market is projected to reach Dh60 billion ($16.33 billion) by 2033, representing 7 per cent of the emirate’s total property transactions, according to the DLD.
