Abu Dhabi Sports wins broadcasting rights for relaunch of Arab Club Championship to be held in Egypt

Abu Dhabi Sports has acquired the broadcasting rights for the relaunched Arab Club Championship to be held in Egypt this summer, it was announced on Thursday.

According to the United Arab Football Association (UAFA), Abu Dhabi Sport the Egypt’s On will be the official broadcasters of the Arab Football Championship where 20 teams from across the Arab world will compete for the chance to win US$2.5 million (Dh9m).

Al Ain, the most decorated club in the country, will be the UAE’s loan representative, while Saudi Arabia will be represented by Al Nassr and Al Hilal. Egyptian powerhouses Al Ahly and Zamalek are also slated for the tournament to be held in Egypt from July 21 to August 5.
