As the measures to contain coronavirus take hold, including lockdowns in many countries, people around the world have been forced to mark the most significant milestones in trying circumstances.

This week, host Willy Lowry finds out how birth, marriage and death have been affected in the time of coronavirus.

He speaks to his sister Alexis, who gave birth to her son in a New York hospital, Izbel Mengel about the postponement of her wedding, and Peter Wheeland and Caroline Priestly on losing a loved one.

Countdown to Zero exhibition will show how disease can be beaten

Countdown to Zero: Defeating Disease, an international multimedia exhibition created by the American Museum of National History in collaboration with The Carter Center, will open in Abu Dhabi a  month before Reaching the Last Mile.

Opening on October 15 and running until November 15, the free exhibition opens at The Galleria mall on Al Maryah Island, and has already been seen at the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum in Atlanta, the American Museum of Natural History in New York, and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
