With regards to your story 93 per cent of disabled Emiratis are unemployed, says minister (March 16), I think this is a great idea. It would be good to see people with all kinds of disabilities working. I used to work with the disabled and people with learning difficulties. It was my job to get them into the mainstream and to educate people to understand and accept them for who they are. We are all different but we all have something to give to society. I really hope these people will be given the chance they deserve.

With regards Saeed Saeed's column Another side of Abu Dhabi: Forget dune-bashing and take visitors to these spots in the capital (March 16), agreed but can we please stop calling it "dune bashing"?
It implies an invitation for people to race across our dunes without respecting our flora and fauna, which hide under the top layer of the sand and in little bushes – and of which there is plenty, much more than the eye sees.
We need to advocate responsible driving if we want to give them a chance of survival.
