In response, Mr Trump said the two men have been "friends for a long time". Sheikh Mohamed also bestowed Mr Trump with the Order of Zayed, the UAE's highest civilian honour. The medal, made of pure gold, is named after UAE Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
