Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan has shared a photograph of his daughter Princess Iman bint Al Hussein bin Abdullah II with King Abdullah II.
In the photo, Princess Iman is seen holding King Abdullah's cheeks with her tiny hands.
Prince Hussein captioned the post: "Iman with her precious grandfather" in Arabic and "Iman and Jiddo" in English.
Social media users flooded the post with comments and well wishes, including "god protect you" and "the best grandfather, father and king".
The royal baby is the first child of Princess Rajwa and Crown Prince Hussein. She is also the first grandchild of King Abdullah II of Jordan and Queen Rania.
Princess Rajwa gave birth to Princess Iman in August last year.
The Royal Hashemite Court then shared a video showing Crown Prince Hussein holding the baby while reciting a traditional call to prayer for newborns.
"We ask God to raise her well and protect her for her parents. You have lit up our family, Grandpa!" King Abdullah said on X.
The Jordanian family is expecting to welcome another royal baby to the family. Their eldest daughter, Princess Iman, is expecting her first child with husband Jameel Thermiotis.
Queen Rania shared the news on social media with a picture of the pair in the sunset, showing Princess Iman with a visible bump. “Two is a couple, three is a blessing,” the Queen captioned the post.
