The platform was set up in 2018 and is affiliated with a foundation set up by Crown Prince Hussein.
The platform's Fabrication Lab attracted about 100 inventors and start-ups in 2021, enabling them to produce prototypes quickly and at low cost.
TechWorks supports students, entrepreneurs, and start-ups.
Mechanical engineer Saliba Taimeh, 39, invented a device that uses ultraviolet light to disinfect the handrails of escalators in malls and transport centres.

Student Zain Abu Rumman, 18, uses a mobile app to demonstrate how his 'SPS Watch' works. The project took him two and a half years to perfect.
The watch acts as a tracking device for the elderly and those with special needs, and comes with an eight-day battery life.
Omar Khader, 26, designed a 'smart' plug to protect children from electric shocks.
