Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, attended a meeting in Sharm El Sheikh with Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett.
The meeting focused on strengthening relations between their countries and the importance of cooperation, coordination and consultation to meet the aspirations of development and stability in the region, according to state news agency Wam.
The three leaders also discussed energy security and the stability of global markets.
Sheikh Mohamed arrived in Sharm El Sheikh on Monday and was accompanied on the visit by Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed, deputy chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad, adviser for special affairs at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, Reem Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Co-operation, Ali Al Shamsi, deputy secretary general of the Supreme National Security Council, and Mohamed Al Mazrouei, undersecretary of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court.
An Egyptian presidential statement said the three leaders also discussed the fallout from "international developments, especially concerning energy and the stability of markets and food sufficiency."
The three leaders also exchanged "perspectives and views" on the latest developments of regional and international issues, the statement added.
Tuesday's meeting was the first to bring together the three leaders since the United Arab Emirates established ties with Israel in 2020. Egypt in 1979 became the first Arab state to sign a peace treaty with Israel.
"The leaders discussed ties between the three countries in the context of recent developments in the world and the region, and the ways to strengthen them on all levels," a statement from the Israeli prime minister's office said.

What the law says
Micro-retirement is not a recognised concept or employment status under Federal Decree Law No. 33 of 2021 on the Regulation of Labour Relations (as amended) (UAE Labour Law). As such, it reflects a voluntary work-life balance practice, rather than a recognised legal employment category, according to Dilini Loku, senior associate for law firm Gateley Middle East.
“Some companies may offer formal sabbatical policies or career break programmes; however, beyond such arrangements, there is no automatic right or statutory entitlement to extended breaks,” she explains.
“Any leave taken beyond statutory entitlements, such as annual leave, is typically regarded as unpaid leave in accordance with Article 33 of the UAE Labour Law. While employees may legally take unpaid leave, such requests are subject to the employer’s discretion and require approval.”
If an employee resigns to pursue micro-retirement, the employment contract is terminated, and the employer is under no legal obligation to rehire the employee in the future unless specific contractual agreements are in place (such as return-to-work arrangements), which are generally uncommon, Ms Loku adds.

Weather warnings show that Storm Eunice is soon to make landfall. The videographer and I are scrambling to return to the other side of the Channel before it does. As we race to the port of Calais, I see miles of wire fencing topped with barbed wire all around it, a silent ‘Keep Out’ sign for those who, unlike us, aren’t lucky enough to have the right to move freely and safely across borders.
We set sail on a giant ferry whose length dwarfs the dinghies migrants use by nearly a 100 times. Despite the windy rain lashing at the portholes, we arrive safely in Dover; grateful but acutely aware of the miserable conditions the people we’ve left behind are in and of the privilege of choice.
