An Israeli man has been killed in a shooting near the occupied West Bank city of Jenin.
Local authorities say the victim, who was believed to be a resident of Hermesh settlement, was shot from another vehicle on Tuesday.
Magen David Adom, Israel's ambulance service, said the victim was in his 30s.
“The wounded person arrived in critical condition and we had to pronounce his death, despite the efforts of medical personnel,” a statement from the hospital said.
Israel's military said that its forces “began pursuing the terrorists and blockages have been set up in the area”.
The shooting follows a spate of Israeli raids on Palestinian towns in the West Bank that reportedly saw 46 Palestinians injured in the city of Nablus.
Israel's forces said it also arrested two people suspected of “terror offences” in the Nur Shams refugee camp, just east of the flashpoint Palestinian city of Tulkarem, and were met with “massive fire”.
One soldier was reportedly injured after Molotov cocktails and live rounds were fired at troops. It is not clear if any Palestinians were injured.
The military searched buildings and questioned suspects. It also used riot dispersal measures to control crowds.
Palestinian media reported Israeli forces used a military bulldozer and prevented ambulances from entering Nur Shams.
The Israeli military later raided two towns outside Tulkarem, breaking into a petrol station and seizing CCTV cameras, according to Wafa.
Forces also conducted operations in the towns of Silwad and Abu Dis, arresting three more suspects.
The military surveyed two properties as part of early preparations to demolish the homes of terrorist suspects, a highly controversial practice which Israel says it uses as a deterrent.
It added that one of the properties was linked to a Palestinian who had killed three members of a British-Israeli family in April.
The military said it was joined overnight by personnel from the Israel Security Authority and border police.

How Filipinos in the UAE invest
A recent survey of 10,000 Filipino expatriates in the UAE found that 82 per cent have plans to invest, primarily in property. This is significantly higher than the 2014 poll showing only two out of 10 Filipinos planned to invest.
Fifty-five percent said they plan to invest in property, according to the poll conducted by the New Perspective Media Group, organiser of the Philippine Property and Investment Exhibition. Acquiring a franchised business or starting up a small business was preferred by 25 per cent and 15 per cent said they will invest in mutual funds. The rest said they are keen to invest in insurance (3 per cent) and gold (2 per cent).
Of the 5,500 respondents who preferred property as their primary investment, 54 per cent said they plan to make the purchase within the next year. Manila was the top location, preferred by 53 per cent.
