The world's longest urban zip line will reopen on Wednesday, June 3, with strict health and safety measures in place.
Xline Dubai Marina has been closed since March 15, in line with government regulations to stem the spread of the coronavirus.
From Wednesday, the attraction will operate four days per week, from Wednesday to Saturday, between 3.30pm and 6.30pm each day.
It will do so with a summer offer of Dh399 per person (almost half the regular price, which is Dh650) or Dh699 per tandem (normally Dh1,200).
There will also be a raft of new guidelines for thrill seekers to adhere to.
Firstly, you'll need to wear a mask and gloves throughout the entire experience. It will also be running at a limited capacity, with a maximum of four customers in each time slot (11 participants per time slot used to be able to check in at Marina Mall and be taken by van to the launch site).
Both staff and customers will also be subject to a mandatory temperature check prior to the experience, and there will be a focus on deep cleaning and sanitisation. There are also new age requirements, meaning only those aged 13 to 59 will be able to partake in the experience. You'll also only be able to pay by credit card, in person or online.
The reopening of the zip line, which offers pundits a one-kilometre ride from a height of 170 metres and top speeds of 80kph, follows the resumption of operations of XDubai's two youth-orientated parks, the XDubai Skatepark at Kite Beach and XPark Jr, in mid-May.
It also follows the reopening of the world's longest zip line, the Jebel Jais flight in Ras Al Khaimah, on May 20.
Mohammed Javad, general manager of XDubai, says the company was "thrilled" to welcome back customers after the successful reopening of the other parks.
"So far, we have been very encouraged to see the community get out and be active, have fun yet respect the rules put in place," Javad says.
“Having been at the forefront of some of the UAE’s largest and most awe-inspiring moments, experiences and occasions, inspiring millions here and around the world to 'defy their limits', we’re now urging all members to work together, co-operate and 'redefine their limits', accepting the health and safety measures put in place in co-ordination with the local authorities.”

Who was Alfred Nobel?
The Nobel Prize was created by wealthy Swedish chemist and entrepreneur Alfred Nobel.
- In his will he dictated that the bulk of his estate should be used to fund "prizes to those who, during the preceding year, have conferred the greatest benefit to humankind".
- Nobel is best known as the inventor of dynamite, but also wrote poetry and drama and could speak Russian, French, English and German by the age of 17. The five original prize categories reflect the interests closest to his heart.
- Nobel died in 1896 but it took until 1901, following a legal battle over his will, before the first prizes were awarded.

Described as 'the grandmother of the settler movement', she has encouraged the expansion of settlements for decades. The 79 year old leads radical settler movement Nachala, whose aim is for Israel to annex Gaza and the occupied West Bank, where it helps settlers built outposts.
Harel Libi & Libi Construction and Infrastructure
Libi has been involved in threatening and perpetuating acts of aggression and violence against Palestinians. His firm has provided logistical and financial support for the establishment of illegal outposts.
Zohar Sabah
