Fresh from picking up a Grammy last month for Best Latin Pop or Urban Album, rapper Bad Bunny turned his sights to another high-profile event.
The first night of WrestleMania 37 kicked off on Saturday, and the Puerto Rican musician teamed up with fellow countryman and WWE wrestler Damian Priest to take on The Miz and John Morrison in a tag-team match. The pair won, leaving fans wowed at the rapper's in-ring debut.
Bad Bunny, real name Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, has had an impressive WWE showing since his first appearance at the Royal Rumble in January. He's also now had the honour of being added to the growing list of celebrities to have appeared at WrestleMania, the very first of which took place in New York's Madison Square Garden in 1985, and featured appearances by Muhammad Ali, Liberace and Cyndi Lauper.
He is one of very few, however, who can say they have actually wrestled in a match as well.
As the annual wrestling event has grown, there's never been a shortage of star power. Kim Kardashian was the guest hostess for WrestleMania 24 in 2008, boxer Mike Tyson was a ringside enforcer for the main event at WrestleMania 14 in 1998, actor Mickey Rourke also stepped inside the ring at WrestleMania 25 in 2009, and even Saturday Night Live cast members Colin Jost and Michael Che got in the ring at WrestleMania 35 in 2019.
