British talk show host, James Corden, 42, has taken to social media to reveal he is the new face of Weight Watchers after lamenting: "I'm fed up with the way I look, I'm fed up with being unhealthy."
The host of The Late Late Show with James Corden shared his body issues on the Weight Watchers' YouTube channel.
"I've realised that every year for the past decade, probably even 15 years, on January the first I've told myself and anyone that would listen that I'm going on a diet, I'm going to lose a load of weight," he said. "I'm fed up with the way I look, I'm fed up with being unhealthy, this is the year I'm doing it. Because of that, over Christmas I've eaten everything that's in the fridge because in my head in January I'm starting this diet and it'll be a success. And as you can see it hasn't.
"It's starting to get me down in a way," added the Gavin and Stacey star. "I've never been able to stick to anything like that. I've spent a long time accepting that this is my body and that's it. But I really am sick and tired of just doing the same thing every year."
'I've struggled my entire life'
It’s not the first time the father-of-three has spoken about his personal body issues. Back in September 2019, he responded to US TV host, Bill Maher who declared: “Fat shaming doesn’t need to end, it needs to make a comeback. Some amount of shame is good. We shamed people out of smoking and into wearing seat belts. We shamed them out of littering and most of them out of racism. Shame is the first step in reform.”
Soon after on his show, Corden told the audience: “There’s a common and insulting misconception that fat people are stupid and lazy, and we’re not,” he said “We get it, we know. We know that being overweight isn’t good for us and I’ve struggled my entire life trying to manage my weight and I suck at it. I’ve had good days and bad months.”
In signing up for Weight Watchers, Corden joins the A-list likes of Jennifer Hudson, Jessica Simpson and Oprah Winfrey, who have all spoken about using the wellness company's points-based approach to dieting. And Corden will be following in the footsteps of Australian Pitch Perfect actress, Rebel Wilson, who wowed fans on Instagram with the result of her 30-kilogram weight loss, and singer, Adele, who is thought to have lost about 44kg.

One in nine do not have enough to eat
Created in 1961, the World Food Programme is pledged to fight hunger worldwide as well as providing emergency food assistance in a crisis.
One of the organisation’s goals is the Zero Hunger Pledge, adopted by the international community in 2015 as one of the 17 Sustainable Goals for Sustainable Development, to end world hunger by 2030.
The WFP, a branch of the United Nations, is funded by voluntary donations from governments, businesses and private donations.
Almost two thirds of its operations currently take place in conflict zones, where it is calculated that people are more than three times likely to suffer from malnutrition than in peaceful countries.
It is currently estimated that one in nine people globally do not have enough to eat.
On any one day, the WFP estimates that it has 5,000 lorries, 20 ships and 70 aircraft on the move.
Outside emergencies, the WFP provides school meals to up to 25 million children in 63 countries, while working with communities to improve nutrition. Where possible, it buys supplies from developing countries to cut down transport cost and boost local economies.
