Budding football stars in Al Ain can now train with the Manchester City Academy at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium.
The twice-weekly coaching sessions are offered to boys and girls, ages 3 to 16 years, giving them the chance to improve their football skills, make friends, stay active and have fun.
“Developing young players in the right way on and off the pitch is very important – and that is what Manchester City coaching is about. The coaching is the same all the way through the club and at coaching sessions in places such as Al Ain and Abu Dhabi,” says Manchester City star Leroy Sane.
Sessions cost Dh50 and are held on Sundays and Wednesdays from 4pm to 4.45pm for 3 to 4 years; 5pm to 6pm for 5 to 6 years; 5pm to 6.15pm for 7 to 10 years; and 6.45pm to 8pm for 11 to 16 years.
Sessions are also held in Abu Dhabi at Emirates Palace, Zayed Sports City and NYU Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat campus.
