Yes, it's love at first sight. Everyone looks good in aviators. In 1936, the US military commissioned Ray-Ban to produce a pair of close-fitting, anti-glare sunglasses suitable for fighter pilots. Over 70 years later, the glasses still look cool and modern. Their oblique curve follows the shape of the eye socket, flattering any face and providing maximum sun protection, while the light metal frames make them easy to wear all day. Over the years, Ray-Ban's original design has had many imitators, but it's hard to improve on a classic.

Tearful appearance
