Air Arabia Abu Dhabi announces flights to Kabul and Dhaka

The low-cost carrier will operate direct flights to the new destinations starting Friday, August 7

Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, the first low-cost airline in Abu Dhabi, has announced the addition of two new destinations to its operations.

Starting Friday, August 7, the airline will fly to Kabul in Afghanistan, three times a week, and offer direct flights to Dhaka in Bangladesh, twice a week, out of Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, which launched its first service on July 14, currently operates three flights per week to Alexandria and Sohag in Egypt.

The UAE's fifth national airline was formed after an agreement between Etihad Airways and Air Arabia to establish the capital's first low-cost carrier, which follows Air Arabia's business model and complements Etihad's services. The airline plans to build its network as more countries ease their travel restrictions.

Passengers flying with Air Arabia Abu Dhabi must wear face masks and follow social-distancing rules.
