The UAE was given a first look at the new Rolls-Royce Dawn Black Badge at Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi on Saturday.
Rolls-Royce holds regular special events around the UAE – and the globe – giving customers and special invitees the chance to try out its million-dirham-plus creations, often without the restrictions of public-road speed limits.
As well as seeing the curtain lifted on the convertible Dawn in its sportier guise, this latest event also allowed the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the two other models in the Black Badge range: the two-door Wraith and four-door Ghost.
The guided drives around the North Circuit of the track wasn’t at full racing speeds, so there was no need to don a crash helmet, but did get up to speeds of about 180kph. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Wraith was the noticeably nimbler of the two, with its 0-to-60kph capability of 4.5 seconds.
The new Dawn Black Badge will cost from Dh1.65 million.
