After the excitement of the Dubai International Motor Show earlier this month, the car world has this week switched its attentions to the West Coast of the United States for the LA Auto Show.
Highlights include the BMW i8 Roadster – an overdue drop-top version of the German manufacturer's brilliant hybrid sports car – and a number of eye-catching new race cars, including Mazda's RT-24P and Acura NSX GT3.
Many of the top automotive attractions seen at the Dubai show are also present, such as the 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and the Kia Stinger.
Held at the LA Convention Centre, the 10-day event runs from December 1 to 10, after three preview days.
