It may not be the prettiest car around but it is light (920kg) and fast - top speed is 280kph and zero to 100kph in 3.9 seconds. The car is still wearing some camouflage in this shot, from the Nürburgring, but the Roding Roadster 23 was officially unveiled in Frankfurt last year. The car is in the same segment of lightweight specialty roadsters as the KTM X-Bow and Ariel Atom and, according to the spy photographer, the Roding Roadster 23 was being benchmarked against the Porsche GT2. The compact sports car from the German specialty marque Roding Automobile comes with a six-cylinder engine producing 300hp and 400Nm of torque - and only 23 units of the car will be made, hence its name.
