Some of the finest cars in the Middle East – and, indeed, the world – went on display on the lawns of the Burj Al Arab on December 7 as the second Gulf Concours opened its doors.
Among the rare and pricey top attractions are 1990s supercar the Jaguar XJ220, a Series I Land Rover from 1951 and a whole variety of classic Ferraris worth millions of dirhams.
The event features contemporary manufacturers and bespoke modern hypercars, as well as privately owned classics that will be judged by a panel featuring British royal Prince Michael of Kent and Sandra Button, the chair of Pebble Beach. The overall Best in Show winner was a 1965 Lancia Flaminia Super Sport Zagato owned by the Dubai-based Tomini Classics.
The Gulf Concours continues on December 8 and 9. For more information, visit www.gulfconcours.ae.
