Dubai went blue this week for the release of Lamborghini’s new Huracan STO at the brand’s showroom.
The new vehicle, the Super Trofeo Omologata, to give it its full name, is inspired by the Italian manufacturer’s Evo racing series. The car was officially unveiled in November, but this was the first time it made landfall in the Middle East.
Unsurprisingly, the latest addition to the manufacturer’s stable is not slow. They’ve kitted it out with a V10 engine that will pump out 640 horsepower and get you to 100 kilometres per hour in an eye-watering three seconds. And right at the top end you’ll get 310kph out of it, which should be enough for anyone without a death wish.
Superior aerodynamic efficiency, extensive use of lightweight materials, unfettered steering and first-class braking performance ensure the Huracan STO delivers the emotion of a track experience on every road drive, Lamborghini says.
It certainly doesn’t look out of place on Dubai’s roads, that’s for sure.
“The Huracan STO is the result of the collaboration between Lamborghini’s R&D, Squadra Corse and Centro Stile departments, with every line and every feature aesthetically outstanding while optimised to ensure the best driving performance," said Paolo Sartori, regional head for the Middle East and Africa at Automobili Lamborghini.
“Its V10 naturally aspirated engine delivers all the emotion of a race car while providing a comfortable road experience for driver and passenger alike.”
And the price for all this? That’ll be $327,838.
The car will be available to customers before the middle of 2021.

Financial considerations before buying a property

Cheat’s nigiri

HOW DO SIM CARD SCAMS WORK?
Sim swap frauds are a form of identity theft.
They involve criminals conning mobile phone operators into issuing them with replacement Sim cards, often by claiming their phone has been lost or stolen
