Jimmy Fallon and wife Nancy Juvonen have put their New York home on the market for $15 million.
Combining four apartments over three floors in the city’s Gramercy Park neighbourhood, the couple have created an abode that’s entirely unique. Perched in the southwest corner of the historic 34, Gramercy Park East building, which was built in 1883, the apartment covers 4,950 square feet.
Many of the building's original features have been restored and retained, including the window frames and casings, and the hardwood floors, but these are now complemented with vintage and antique finds from around the world.
The space, which is listed via Sotheby’s International Realty, is accessed via the seventh floor. Leading off from a grand entry foyer is the living room, which has been covered in a rare vintage wallpaper from the 1940s. A plush custom-made sofa and in-ceiling projector make this an ideal space for casual gatherings.
A west-facing kitchen lies at the heart of the home and offers views over Gramercy Park. Dining space for six is complemented by bar seating for eight, besides a gas fireplace with an original mantel set with vintage tiles. A walk-in pantry was formally used as a sound studio, and is still fully soundproofed. Also on this floor are two spacious bedrooms, a home office and a laundry room.
A custom-crafted staircase links the property's three stories, and has a hidden playroom beneath it – complete with monkey bars and a chalkboard wall.
The eighth floor is home to the Saloon Room, an entertainment space featuring a vintage bar back, gas fireplace and stone hearth. Two additional bedrooms, one of which is currently used as a home gym, make up the rest of the eighth floor.
A bedroom suite and private wing sit on the ninth floor, with two walk-in closets and a bathroom fitted with his and hers vanities, a steam shower and soaking tub.

Brunch has been around, is some form or another, for more than a century. The word was first mentioned in print in an 1895 edition of Hunter’s Weekly, after making the rounds among university students in Britain. The article, entitled Brunch: A Plea, argued the case for a later, more sociable weekend meal. “By eliminating the need to get up early on Sunday, brunch would make life brighter for Saturday night carousers. It would promote human happiness in other ways as well,” the piece read. “It is talk-compelling. It puts you in a good temper, it makes you satisfied with yourself and your fellow beings, it sweeps away the worries and cobwebs of the week.” More than 100 years later, author Guy Beringer’s words still ring true, especially in the UAE, where brunches are often used to mark special, sociable occasions.
