I was born in Bologna, Italy, and studied Chinese language and literature at Venice University before travelling, studying and working in China, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Brazil, Europe and America. Wherever I was, I always Ioved browsing through hidden workshops, local antique markets and international trade expos.

At the age of 30 I left Milan to move to Melbourne, then London and Dubai, where I arrived on New Year's Eve 2010. I have always loved interior design, and for 10 years I worked as a homestyle buyer for home and gift retailers and interior designers. This slowly evolved into a desire to create something unique and authentic; in 2010 I lay the foundations for Autentico Living.

Autentico Living's official launch was in October 2011 at Index Dubai and the outcome was ­overwhelming.

In the same year, the interest in our Ata UAE limited-edition designer chair, Autentico Living's homage to UAE National Day, was truly unexpected. The chair went from being exhibited in the central lobbies of main hotels and tourist destinations in Dubai to being showcased in the Virgin Megastores at Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates.

Our biggest selling item is our wall stickers. Autentico Living wall stickers by Vinyluse are decorative and functional at the same time; they turn into floor lamps, chalkboards, wall clocks, clothes hangers and lots more.
