Coffee connoisseurs in the UAE can enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to sip the world's most expensive coffee at Seven Fortunes Coffee Roasters in Dubai.
The 601 Experience will allow coffee lovers to sample the world-renowned Panama Hacienda La Esmeralda Cañas Verdes lot Montana Geisha Natural.
Only 45.5 kilograms of the history-making coffee exists in the world. This natural-processed Geisha was sold at the Best of Panama Specialty Coffee auction for a record-breaking price of US$1324 (Dh4866) per kilogram.
For those interested in attending the event, tickets cost between Dh250 and Dh550. For Dh250, the guest receives 15 grams of roasted Esmeralda Geisha Cañas Verdes and entry into the 601 Experience, and is also eligible to bring a friend at no additional charge.
For Dh550, the guest receives 15g of roasted coffee to be brewed at Seven Fortunes, plus 50g of Esmeralda Geisha Cañas Verdes in beans. The sample must be picked up at the event.
“The UAE market is hungry for coffee and I’m proud to be the one to bring this record-breaking experience to Dubai," says Karim Hassan, founder of Seven Fortunes Coffee Roasters.
"Who knows what the future will bring, but today this coffee is the highest scoring and best tasting coffee among the Global Specialty Coffee Grading System. This is not an opinionated taste, but a proven fact."
The event will take place on September 30 at 2pm. Tickets for The 601 Experience can be purchased from the Seven Fortunes website: www.sevenfortunes.com/product/panama-601-experience-pour-over-50-grams
