If piping-hot ramen is your ultimate comfort food, there's reason to get excited, as South Korean brand Samyang Foods – whose spicy noodle packets have been flying off supermarket shelves for years – has launched a noodle bar at Global Village's Korean pavilion.
Guests can customise the Buldak ramen noodles to their liking by choosing the spice level (the outlet will serve up various fiery sauces) and protein.
There are no plans to open a regular outlet once Global Village closes for the summer as of now, so grab these while you can.
Moreover, those who show the staff this TikTok video or create a post and tag the noodle company on social media get a free packet with every purchase.
Travel around the world with sweet treats from Yummy Bakes
Tasting new cuisines is a huge pro of travelling. To make up for the lack of travel opportunities this past year, family-owned bakery Yummy Bakes has launched a Sweet Tours campaign, through which it will recreate some of the world’s most famous desserts each week.
On offer at the moment is medovik, a layered honey cake from Russia, which will be followed by an apple tart from the Netherlands. Other treats you can expect in the weeks to come include Irish shortbread toffee bars (to coincide with St Patrick’s Day on Wednesday, March 17) and melomakaronos, little Greek cookies drenched in honey, right in time for Greek Independence Day (Thursday, March 25).

Sprungli unveils luxury collection exclusive to the UAE
Luxury Swiss chocolatier Sprungli has unveiled Ciochito, a collection of bite-sized chocolates created exclusively for the UAE. The selection features 10 flavours in dark, milk and white chocolate, each packed with a burst of flavour.
Fans of dark chocolate can try the bitter sweet Maracaibo with 62 per cent Maracaibo ganache, dark chocolate and an orange filling; and the passion fruit for a punch of fruity flavour.
For milk chocolate lovers, there's the mascarpone, caramel and hazelnut. The white chocolate flavours include pistachio, blueberry and raspberry with lemon.

Chinese restaurant Hutong has partnered with Deliveroo to bring its fiery dishes straight to your doorstep.
The restaurant’s Hutong at Home menu features wild mushroom and truffle bao, a steamed dim sum platter, Wagyu beef millefeuille, Sichuan-style lobster and aromatic beef rib in lotus leaf.
Guests can also order the famed whole roasted Peking duck with pancakes, delivered with plum sauce, cucumber and spring onions for Dh398. The dish comes with instructions on how to re-steam the pancakes, while the duck comes diced, mixed with green beans and peppers, and accompanied by lettuce cups.

BIOSAFETY LABS SECURITY LEVELS
Biosafety Level 1
The lowest safety level. These labs work with viruses that are minimal risk to humans.
Hand washing is required on entry and exit and potentially infectious material decontaminated with bleach before thrown away.
Must have a lock. Access limited. Lab does not need to be isolated from other buildings.
Used as teaching spaces.
Study microorganisms such as Staphylococcus which causes food poisoning.
Biosafety Level 2
These labs deal with pathogens that can be harmful to people and the environment such as Hepatitis, HIV and salmonella.
Working in Level 2 requires special training in handling pathogenic agents.
Extra safety and security precautions are taken in addition to those at Level 1
Biosafety Level 3
These labs contain material that can be lethal if inhaled. This includes SARS coronavirus, MERS, and yellow fever.
Significant extra precautions are taken with staff given specific immunisations when dealing with certain diseases.
Infectious material is examined in a biological safety cabinet.
Personnel must wear protective gowns that must be discarded or decontaminated after use.
Strict safety and handling procedures are in place. There must be double entrances to the building and they must contain self-closing doors to reduce risk of pathogen aerosols escaping.
Windows must be sealed. Air from must be filtered before it can be recirculated.
Biosafety Level 4
The highest level for biosafety precautions. Scientist work with highly dangerous diseases that have no vaccine or cure.
All material must be decontaminated.
Personnel must wear a positive pressure suit for protection. On leaving the lab this must pass through decontamination shower before they have a personal shower.
Entry is severely restricted to trained and authorised personnel. All entries are recorded.
Entrance must be via airlocks.
