Frioul Bistro de Luxe, the French bistro at the entrance to Madinat Jumeirah, is now serving breakfast with innovative options designed by talented head chef Brian Hughson. You'll find the usual breakfast offerings such as French toast, omelettes, yogurt and muesli, but the menu also offers grilled kippers with mustard and shallot butter (yum!) served with toasted sourdough soldiers and duck eggs with smoked haddock and gruyere cheese. Breakfast is served every day from 8am to noon. And there's even complimentary three-hour valet parking at the entrance to Souk Madinat. 04 567 0011. www.frioulbistrodeluxe.com
