Nothing says in-the-know quite like personalised items, and now for the first time Dior is offering its customers the chance to customise its bags in Arabic.

As part of the My ABCDior concept, fans of the brand can create something unique by adding a name, or name of a loved one, to the Dior Book Tote or the Lady D-Lite bag. In a first for the region, the bespoke embroidery service is available in Arabic lettering as well.

Only available until Sunday, October 24, shoppers can head to the Dior boutiques at The Galleria Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi, and The Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates in Dubai for the customisations. The service will also be available in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

This is not the first time Dior has offered personalisation on its most recognisable pieces. Since joining Dior, creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri has introduced new ways to hone Dior to each individual.

Single letter earrings, for example, or the ability to add charms and lettering to the Lady Dior bag strap allow women to shape pieces to her own personality, while retaining that all important Dior aesthetic. Even the J'Adore pump can also have a name or initials added to the famous ribbon.

In what can be seen as way to widen the appeal to customers, earlier this year Dior also offered customers in China the opportunity to add Chinese characters to the Book Tote Bag.
