She might have been known as Queen B for some years, but Beyonce Knowles's rise to the throne first began in the 1990s.
The multi-Grammy-winning American singer and actress shot to fame as part of R&B group Destiny's Child, who released their first album in 1997.
While the members may have changed throughout the years, one thing remained the same - a dedication to some head-turning red carpet looks.
The group, often styled by Knowles's mother, Tina, often sported co-ordinating looks that ranged from full leather ensembles to vibrant, Indian-inspired embroidery.
After breaking out as a solo artist in 2003, however, Beyonce, now 38, began to adopt a more individual style, switching effortlessly from slinky evening gowns to avant-garde suiting.
While the star has favoured a number of labels, including Givenchy, Gucci and her mother's House of Dereon, she has also donned pieces from some of the region's couturiers, such as Elie Saab, Zuhair Murad and Azzi & Osta.

No more lice
Defining head lice
Pediculus humanus capitis are tiny wingless insects that feed on blood from the human scalp. The adult head louse is up to 3mm long, has six legs, and is tan to greyish-white in colour. The female lives up to four weeks and, once mature, can lay up to 10 eggs per day. These tiny nits firmly attach to the base of the hair shaft, get incubated by body heat and hatch in eight days or so.
Identifying lice
Lice can be identified by itching or a tickling sensation of something moving within the hair. One can confirm that a person has lice by looking closely through the hair and scalp for nits, nymphs or lice. Head lice are most frequently located behind the ears and near the neckline.
Treating lice at home
Head lice must be treated as soon as they are spotted. Start by checking everyone in the family for them, then follow these steps. Remove and wash all clothing and bedding with hot water. Apply medicine according to the label instructions. If some live lice are still found eight to 12 hours after treatment, but are moving more slowly than before, do not re-treat. Comb dead and remaining live lice out of the hair using a fine-toothed comb.
After the initial treatment, check for, comb and remove nits and lice from hair every two to three days. Soak combs and brushes in hot water for 10 minutes.Vacuum the floor and furniture, particularly where the infested person sat or lay.

Conflict, drought, famine
Estimates of the number of deaths caused by the famine range from 400,000 to 1 million, according to a document prepared for the UK House of Lords in 2024.
It has been claimed that the policies of the Ethiopian government, which took control after deposing Emperor Haile Selassie in a military-led revolution in 1974, contributed to the scale of the famine.

With Midge Ure of the band Ultravox, he wrote the hit charity single Do They Know it’s Christmas in December 1984, featuring a string of high-profile musicians.
Following the single’s success, the idea to stage a rock concert evolved.
Live Aid was a series of simultaneous concerts that took place at Wembley Stadium in London, John F Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia, the US, and at various other venues across the world.
The combined event was broadcast to an estimated worldwide audience of 1.5 billion.
