It’s now possible to experience The Dubai Fountain in a brand new way.
On Monday, December 7, Emaar announced the launch of The Dubai Fountain Water Experiences. Located in the extension of The Dubai Fountain, adjacent to The Dubai Mall, the new attraction gives visitors the chance to partake in four fun-filled activities, including a children's boating activity, a family boating experience, a kayaking adventure and a floating garden.
Families can choose between motorised and pedal boats in the shape of larger-than-life – and Instagram-friendly – swans. The new activity will give them the freedom to explore The Dubai Fountain for half an hour.
Meanwhile teens, fitness lovers and adrenalin junkies will be able to get on-board specially-crafted kayaks, including transparent ones, and water bikes.
Those looking for an activity closer to land can check out the Floating Garden, an attraction that aims to highlight the flowers loved by people in the country.
Finally, children can also make a splash with the Birds Cove. Those aged 3 and above will be able to choose between a combination of motorised and pedal boats in the shapes of birds like ducks and flamingos as they explore The Dubai Fountain.
Prices for the Swan Family Boat start at Dh50 per person for a half an hour ride. Meanwhile, prices for Kayaking Adventure start at Dh75 per person and the Water Bikes go for Dh50 per person for half an hour.
Prices for the Kids & Toddlers Experiences start at Dh40 for the Flamingos Boat and Dh45 for the Ducks Boats.
The Dubai Fountain Water Experiences are open daily from noon to 8pm, with the last entry to the attraction being 7.30pm.

Pharaoh's curse
British aristocrat Lord Carnarvon, who funded the expedition to find the Tutankhamun tomb, died in a Cairo hotel four months after the crypt was opened.
He had been in poor health for many years after a car crash, and a mosquito bite made worse by a shaving cut led to blood poisoning and pneumonia.
Reports at the time said Lord Carnarvon suffered from “pain as the inflammation affected the nasal passages and eyes”.
Decades later, scientists contended he had died of aspergillosis after inhaling spores of the fungus aspergillus in the tomb, which can lie dormant for months. The fact several others who entered were also found dead withiin a short time led to the myth of the curse.
