You'll now have a little bit longer to get your fill of Global Village.
The entertainment destination has announced it will remain open until May 2, extending its 25th season by an additional two weeks.
The Dubai favourite had been due to wrap up its silver jubilee celebrations on April 18.
Organisers cited the start of Ramadan, which is predicted to begin on Monday, April 12, as the reason for the extension.
"Because one week is not enough to enjoy the wonders of Ramadan, we will continue to welcome you at Global Village until May 2," the destination posted on its Twitter page.
Organisers added that Global Village will operate later opening hours, 6pm to 2am, during Ramadan.
The news follows Global Village's announcement earlier in March that it was resuming its twice-weekly "musical" fireworks show, which was suspended in February.
The spectacle was paused on February 3 following a directive from Dubai Tourism to suspend live entertainment in hotels and restaurants.
Fireworks will take place at the multicultural theme park every Thursday and Friday at 9pm.
The destination opened gates for its 25th season on October 25, with a host of safety measures in place.
These include free face masks, thermal scanners and more than 600 sanitisation stations spread across the venue.
Global Village is on Sundays to Wednesdays, 4pm-12am; Thursdays and Fridays, 4pm-1am; and Saturdays, 2pm-11pm; until Sunday, May 2, 2021. Tickets are Dh15. More information is available at globalvillage.ae

Red flags
- Promises of high, fixed or 'guaranteed' returns.
- Unregulated structured products or complex investments often used to bypass traditional safeguards.
- Lack of clear information, vague language, no access to audited financials.
- Overseas companies targeting investors in other jurisdictions - this can make legal recovery difficult.
- Hard-selling tactics - creating urgency, offering 'exclusive' deals.
