Gigi Hadid is pregnant. Several reports say the American-Palestinian model is expecting a baby with her British-Pakistani singer boyfriend, Zayn Malik.
The model is yet to confirm the news, however she did post videos from her 25th birthday on Thursday, April 23, which eagle-eyed fans suggest show the early promise of a baby bump.
"Gigi and Zayn are expecting their first child together and the couple is very excited. Gigi has kept the secret close to her family and friends for a while as she's only a few months along," a family source told Entertainment Tonight.
Hadid and Malik have been in an on/off relationship since 2015, but broke up for a period in 2018. It was confirmed they were back together in December 2019.
"Once Gigi and Zayn got back together at the end of last year, it was like they never skipped a beat and knew what they had was special," the source said. "The couple and their families are overjoyed."
The model has spoken about wanting to start a family in the past.
In February, she told i-D magazine: "As I get older ... well one day, I'll start a family and I don't know if I will always be modelling.
"The people I work with make me so happy, I’m so lucky to be around them. But who knows? Maybe I’ll take up full time cooking."
The Hadid and Malik families are yet to confirm the news, but fellow celebrities have rushed to congratulate them on social media.
"It is a big day for Gigis," Chrissy Teigen wrote on Twitter, referring to Hadid and Golnesa 'GG' Gharachedaghi, 38, the star of reality TV show, Shahs of Sunset, who gave birth to her first child on Monday, April 27.

Conflict, drought, famine
Estimates of the number of deaths caused by the famine range from 400,000 to 1 million, according to a document prepared for the UK House of Lords in 2024.
It has been claimed that the policies of the Ethiopian government, which took control after deposing Emperor Haile Selassie in a military-led revolution in 1974, contributed to the scale of the famine.
Dr Miriam Bradley, senior lecturer in humanitarian studies at the University of Manchester, has argued that, by the early 1980s, “several government policies combined to cause, rather than prevent, a famine which lasted from 1983 to 1985. Mengistu’s government imposed Stalinist-model agricultural policies involving forced collectivisation and villagisation [relocation of communities into planned villages].
The West became aware of the catastrophe through a series of BBC News reports by journalist Michael Buerk in October 1984 describing a “biblical famine” and containing graphic images of thousands of people, including children, facing starvation.
Band Aid
Bob Geldof, singer with the Irish rock group The Boomtown Rats, formed Band Aid in response to the horrific images shown in the news broadcasts.
With Midge Ure of the band Ultravox, he wrote the hit charity single Do They Know it’s Christmas in December 1984, featuring a string of high-profile musicians.
Following the single’s success, the idea to stage a rock concert evolved.
Live Aid was a series of simultaneous concerts that took place at Wembley Stadium in London, John F Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia, the US, and at various other venues across the world.
The combined event was broadcast to an estimated worldwide audience of 1.5 billion.
