It's been an action-packed six weeks, brimming with concerts, fireworks, shows and plenty of discounts, thanks to the 26th annual Dubai Shopping Festival.
This year also welcomed the addition of new features, such as drone shows taking place at La Mer, Al Seef and The Beach.
Even as the shopping extravaganza comes to a close this weekend, Dubai customers can expect it to end with much fanfare.
From Thursday to Saturday, there will be a DSF final sale taking place in retail outlets citywide, with discounts of up to 90 per cent being offered across hundreds of brands.
The mega sale promises savings of 25 to 90 per cent on everything from fashion to homeware, children’s toys to technology, and more.
For the occasion, 300 brands will be cutting prices on a range of items in about 1,000 stores across malls and shopping centres across Dubai.
Some of the participating brands include Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle Outfitters, Balmain, Banana Republic, Carolina Herrera, Chanel, Diesel, Ermenegildo Zegna, Hollister Co, Home Box, Interiors, Kenzo, La Senza, Reebok, River Island, Scotch & Soda, Wrangler and The Face Shop.
It's also the last chance to check out pop-ups such as The Dubai Mall's Shoetopia, where shoppers can browse through exclusive footwear designs and customisations by local and international artists.

HIV on the rise in the region
A 2019 United Nations special analysis on Aids reveals 37 per cent of new HIV infections in the Mena region are from people injecting drugs.
New HIV infections have also risen by 29 per cent in western Europe and Asia, and by 7 per cent in Latin America, but declined elsewhere.
Egypt has shown the highest increase in recorded cases of HIV since 2010, up by 196 per cent.
Access to HIV testing, treatment and care in the region is well below the global average.
Few statistics have been published on the number of cases in the UAE, although a UNAIDS report said 1.5 per cent of the prison population has the virus.
Heavily-sugared soft drinks slip through the tax net
Some popular drinks with high levels of sugar and caffeine have slipped through the fizz drink tax loophole, as they are not carbonated or classed as an energy drink.
Arizona Iced Tea with lemon is one of those beverages, with one 240 millilitre serving offering up 23 grams of sugar - about six teaspoons.
A 680ml can of Arizona Iced Tea costs just Dh6.
Most sports drinks sold in supermarkets were found to contain, on average, five teaspoons of sugar in a 500ml bottle.

From: Lonely Loris is a Sunda slow loris, one of nine species of the animal native to Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore
Status: Critically endangered, and listed as vulnerable on the International Union for Conservation of Nature red list due to growing demand in the global exotic pet trade. It is one of the most popular primate species found at Indonesian pet markets

What is graphene?
Graphene is extracted from graphite and is made up of pure carbon.
It is 200 times more resistant than steel and five times lighter than aluminum.
It conducts electricity better than any other material at room temperature.
It is thought that graphene could boost the useful life of batteries by 10 per cent.
Graphene can also detect cancer cells in the early stages of the disease.
